Scott Wolter is a forensic geologist, author, and television host renowned for his investigations into historical artifacts and sites, challenging conventional narratives through scientific analysis.

In 1990, Wolter founded American Petrographic Services, where he has served as President, conducting over 7,000 material forensic investigations. He developed archaeopetrography, a scientific process used to date and understand the origins of inscribed stone artifacts. This methodology has been pivotal in his analyses of various controversial artifacts.

Wolter gained national attention as the host of the television series "America Unearthed," where he explored historical artifacts and sites across North America, proposing alternative interpretations of history. 

In addition to his television work, Wolter has authored several books on geology, the Knights Templar, and theories related to pre-Columbian contact. His publications include "The Hooked X: Key to the Secret History of North America" and "Cryptic Code of the Templar’s in America: Origins of the Hooked X."
